No crown

I have missed the crown...it should have been found by now. Tomorrow I will call my dentist and have him order me a new one. That being said I have started a side business. A man that just moved in across from me needs to have his laundry done once a week. So he is paying me $25 a week to do his laundry. He is really nice and I can't wait to meet his wife. They live in Big Bear, but he works as a line man so he lives in his RV during the week. I can sure use the money. I am supposed to go to a prep class this Friday and Saturday for my teaching credential test. Then  I have another class in April. Thursday is St. Patrick's day, I have always gone to see my Mom on St.Patrick's day since she was named after him. Her birthday is the day before my son's and since she died when the kids were young I didn't want her day to take away from my son's birthday which is the day after hers. So since she always liked be remembered on St. Patrick's day I always made it a family affair to go visit Grandma Pat on that day. We take her a shamrock plant and make it a fun time. I have asked my daughter togo again with me, but as usual she does not answer emails from me. I can't believe how much she would be hurt by them not treating me like their mom. But I will go and tell her how am I trying so hard to do what is right and how sorry I am that I did not listen to her when she told me not to marry my ex. When she died I was not there because I had 2 small children and felt that I needed to be with them. I tried so hard to prove she was not right about my marriage, but to no avail.  My children have no contact with any of my family. That is not because of my family, but rather my ex and my kids. They know their fathers sister and her son and his mother, but they will not have any contact with my family. Yet all the years they were growing up it was my family that paid for their Christmas, that sent them gifts on their birthday, called them and sent them money. His family claimed they were too poor, yeah too poor because they took cruises, bought new cars every 4or5 years, and lived in gated communities. My dad was a Chief Torpedo man in the Navy for 30 years. He is 87. He never even made E9. Yet my in-laws and my ex say my family was rich. How do they figure? Good with their money yes. Worked hard and took care of what ever they owned?Yes. Rich? No, except in the love of their children.
My parents never had money to give to my sister and I but they would always help us. We knew we could always move home and live until we could get back on our feet, no matter how old we were. They did things for us that were more important and made us better people than just giving money. If they did give us money, they never charged interest and we understood that if we could never pay the money back it was okay, it wasn't a loan, but a gift. Yes it was better if we could pay it back, because then it would be available for use the next time some one needed it. My ex's family always charged interest and you had to pay them back before any other bills were paid! NO matter what! And yet they borrowed money from us and paid when they wanted and Heaven Forbid that we would charge them interest!! They were family!
So yes it is better that I am no longer involved with those people, of course they never did consider me family. No I was just a gold digger that married their son. I didn't even count as the mother of his children. The kids have only counted since they are now adults and might be available to help them someday soon financially. Not them help the kids, no my kids will send them money! I hope I am not alive to learn that my kids ever financially helped any of the ex's immediate family.
But I digress...so the weather has been nice around here. The Tsunami did no obvious damage that I am aware of, to our beaches and bays, but I heard that those who are in the know were able to see some effect of the Tsunami. I feel so sorry for the Japanese and hope things will get better for them sooner rather than later.
Well I am getting sleepy so off to bed.
