No clean up today!!!!
Yesterday we had these major winds and snow, no school again, but my daughter wasn't well since a couple of days, so it gave her time to just take care of herself. So in the afternoon, I started cleaning the house, started with the living room, washing my floor, and my daughter says, mom this smells good, I replied; it's a new soap for wooden floors, so she replies; can I do my floor with it,of course I said, so we both gave it our all, and cleanned up the whole house.Today, she off to school feeling much better, and I am sitting here with nothing to do except planning my supper.Gives me time to catch up on my sites.HOpe all are doing well.Mck

Hey - it\'s not spring yet - not where Mck lives. It is fun if it is novel, but it can get me down - no color at all - all grey, whites and dull reddish color.Glad to see that you have some energy back Mck - Soon I shall be planting bulbs! (well, Joel - pronounced (CH) as in loch-the scottish word, o as in , well it\'s obvious, then the el as the second syllable., will be. I\'ve planted 3 Crocus sativa - they cost 9 dollars each, but it is an investment - they produce saffron! My new neighbour & I communicate - he speaks some English & a lot of spanish, which sounds so lovely: I try english-usually it doesn\'t work, so if I can remember, I use portuguese (that\'s not often) then french - music is our common language: he plays guitar & sings in Spanish and Quechua, and does it with a total lack of self-consciousness that amazes me! He\'s going to clean the botanical rubbish along my front fence - I tell him \"em frente\" - he understands, but thinks I\'m trying to speak spanish, and corrects me (I think) - apparently it\'s Al frent (of course I can\'t spell it!). My Mum used to tell people I couldn\'t talk with my hands tied behind my back, so I think that\'s it! -Been through this so many times- I had to administer an IQ test to 2 boys just arrived from Marseilles, in l970 - I was living in the only state that had German as its 2nd. language! so I had to do it-in french!. Fortunately maths is a universal language, & matching pictures isn\'t hard to explain - but the verbal skills!!! That was the first time I\'d ever head a native speaker of french , & I had them for a month! - I had trouble with the accent in Quebec -so different!!!. I\'d have liked to have younger d. help clean up the house when she was still at school, but she had a familial form of rheumatoid arthritis. Living in semi-desert suites her really well.
