Nightmare
I had the most horrible nightmare last night... I was protecting my client at every turn, killing the people who came to attack her one by one... It was a very violent dream due to my methods of killing the attackers...
It was so real I actually called 911 and when I woke completely, I had to call them back and tell them not to come...
I believe I will protect my client as I stated above, in every manner possible, but the dream was so gruesome, I hope it never comes to that...

If you had to guess, what part of you does your client represent? Who are you protecting her from?
I believe my client represents a part of myself I could never protect... I fought for her when I coudn\'t fight for myself... I think that is where it comes from...
Wow, what an awful nightmare! I think your analysis is probably close to the truth. When it comes to your kids or loved ones, all bets are off. My younger son had issues with his second grade teacher shortly after we moved and I had to defend him and go above the principal (who hired that teacher, I\'m sure coz she was \"hot\") to get some action. It\'s a long ugly story, but suffice it to say I found the strength inside myself to defend my son. Who knows why we don\'t do the same for ourselves.
I hope you were able to wake fully and shake that nightmare.
I try to tell people that whether they realize it or not-they can learn to control their dreams...I know when I was youinger I always had bad dreams of falling from the sky-till I learned to control it and land safely :)
scary when dreams are that real...maybe, for your own sake, you should step back just a little from your client.
You are all right nancydan, annettearizona, and penntuycky... I remembver a time when I could change my dream s when I was having them... It was an interesting ability... Unfortunatly, with this one I was caught completely off guard and all I could do was fight... You are right, pentucky... I have created a great emotional bond with my client... As you mentioned, stepping back is a very good idea... Thank you all....
