Nice weekend

Happy Saturday!! I was on four shifts, and today is the beginning of 3 days off. yay!!!my body is sore, and I slept over 8 straight hours last night. lol Thats amazing for me. I woke up in the same position I went to sleep in.Its Sam Steele days here, so for the last couple days we have had to wear western wear to work, and blue jeans are too hot to work in. Sam Steele was from Ontario, he came to the east kootenays (our area) as a leader of the R.C.M.P. (royal canadian mounted police). he brought law and order with him. so I guess, he cleaned up a few towns. lol and now they celebrate him once a year. lol that was your history lesson for the day. (how droll). lolIts supposed to get up to 29 degrees here today, and then a thunder storm is supposed to roll in. so, I am going to get a few things done before that happens.for any flower lovers, I would like to tell you how beautiful my giant ruffled iris is, this is the first year it bloomed, its huge and so tall, I had to hook it up, cause it kept falling over. lol.the oriental irises are so delicate and pretty next to it, i will take a pic, and then eventually post it. We planted another tree in the back yard, that makes four this year. its going to look like a miniature forest, which is exactly what i want. the trees make the yard smell so nice.  Off to my a.a. meeting tonight, cant wait to see Rosanne to tell her all about the job. She is job hunting as well.I know some of you are having really harsh times right now, and my prayers are with you. Dont ever give up hope for a happy life, its totally within our reaches. it takes time, and effort and some times heart ache, but the result is worth it all. Been there, done that. I dont mean to sound flippant, for i am not at all, I just want to stress the fact that in all things there is hope. always hope.My life is proof that with effort, life can be happy joyous and free. That old song, about always being darkest before the dawn still goes through my head at times. Its so true. Each and every one of you has brought hope into my life. and life looks a lot differnt to me now. well, i am off to do a few things today, I leave you with thanks, prayers, love, and hope.have a beautiful day.xoxoox
