Nice People
I've tried to live by what my dad told me,,,treat people like you would like to be treated. But I took it a little farther. I try to go out of my way to be nice to people,,especially strangers. I think its called, "Playing it forward". It could opening a door for someone,,,waiting for them to pass me in a crowded store aisle,,,etc. It still amazes me when someone does it for me. For example, a woman was kinda stuck trying to negotiate her grocery cart around a stocking cart and I motioned for her make her turn. She called me a gentleman and I made a joke about it saying I must have missed him. It made me feel good. A guy opened the door for me at a convenience store and a woman held it open for me when I left. When I got my car, a yellowjacket was cruising around the door. As I hesitated, the guy who had opened the door asked me what was wrong and promptly came over and got rid of the pest. If you're not doing it now, try playing it forward. You'll be amazed how many times it come back to you.

Yes, that is a wonderful thing to do, try playing it forward. It\'s such a nice feeling. I know when I am down in the dumps, if I start thinking about what I can do to help someone else, my spirits are lifted. Thanks for being you!
