News from Pakistan\'s bordering regions!

Yes, Pakistan has trouble in its region bordering Afghanistan. In fact, the area is a center of struggle since the British struggled with the Russians here. You know it is not difficult to understand what is going on there. World politics is all about gaining access to world markets. The Russians have always aspired to access the warm waters’ oceans and seas which the Capitalists have always tried to deny them. Moreover, the world arms’ trade is well flourished in areas with religiously and ethnically different people living in close quarters where economy is unbalanced. Such imbalance gives rise to KHMER ROUGE in Cambodia, VIETCONGS in Vietnam, MUKTI BAHNI in Former East Pakistan (now Bangladesh). The 3 had been so called freedom fighters which some times cross the line to become UNDERGROUND GANGSTERS/INSURGENTS. In our region we have lots of ethnicities fighting for their ‘rights’. Lots of freedom movements are going on  in India. One such movement in the Himalayan valley of KASHMIR concerns Pakistan too. Then to add fuel to fire, we have TALIBAN, who once pushed the Russian back from a warm water harbor, but now the untended ‘holy warriors’ who were raised by the American CIA have turned into UNDERGROUND GANSTERS/INSURGENTS as mentioned above. It is because of the world’s most profitable ARMS’ TRADE. Guns are the wealthiest things in the world. You can protect a bank with a gun or can rob one with it. What do you think? Yes, TALIBAN have seeped in our bordering regions through our porous borders with Afghanistan. And to add fuel to fire, AL QAIDA, i.e. the Arab version of Islamic UNDERGROUND GANGSTERS/INSURGENTS have merged with them too. I wonder how. I will have to have a look at the atlas and trace some geographical links of AL QAIDA with the TALIBAN, i.e. the Afghan version of these Islamic UNDERGROUND/INSURGENTS. The real worry would have been minor had Pakistan not been a the only Islamic NUCLEAR POWER. We are worried that if these so called Islamic UNDERGROUND GANGSTERS/INSURGENTS are able to control our NUCLEAR WEAPONS then they are a threat to world peace. Pakistan has religious and ethnic differences with India. Same with Israel. Both India and Israel are geographically surrounded by Islamic countries. So, access of the TALIBAN or AL QAIDA to our Nuclear weapons means a threat to India and Israel. Pakistanis can transfer these nuclear weapons to the trouble spots where the communists are in conflict with the Americans, like NORTH KOREA or CUBA. Does it all make sense? So, Pakistan is helping US and NATO to root out TALIBAN and AL QAIDA from the bordering regions of Pakistan. Our boys are suffering heavy casualties fighting side by side with the US military and the NATO. Even the Afghan army is fighting the TALIBAN and AL QAIDA in the bordering regions of Pakistan. War is always confusing. Today’s wars are more about INSURGENCY than older days’ all out battles.
