Newly Diagnosed

Hi everyone ,

I received my blood test results last night .Needless to say they werent favourable .I hardly slept and i didnt know what to think about having hiv.I joined this site this morning and my perspective has changed .I truly believe now that i will live long enough to raise my son .Thank you to everyone who's actively participating in this site .

p.s ,I am 25 years old with a 5 year old autistic boy .The doctor told me that my CD4 count is really low and that i have a lot of inflammation -I am currently sick so she said that could be the reason for the inflammation .I am going to have to start on meds soon.I am looking forward to "walking "this journey with you all .
