Newbie in a club I don't want to belong to
My husband went in for his annual endoscopy and they found a mass. Scary stuff.. He already has a bad heart and has been on disability since 2008.. He is 65 and I am 59... I am so afraid of the next steps. He is on a fast track and finds out on Wednesday whether he will be having surgery or starting off with chemo/ radiation first then surgery... Pray for just surgery...

So sorry Shelly. my husband wad diagnosed in January 2013 and had surgery that April. He had chemo/rad ads them surgery. He is doing well now. My advice to you is to make sure the treatment team has experience with EC. Be sure to ask questions about experience.
So far, after 3 weeks of daily radiation and 3 Chemo treatments my husband is feeling good. Doc says he will lose his hair but so far, no symptoms. He has not felt sick and continues to have a pretty good appetite. God is truly sitting on his shoulder and I pray he watches over our family through this whole process and gives us good results in the end of this journey.
