New Years First Time
Decades of making New Years resolutions and dropping them by early March, so this is a first for me. I've completed 50 percent of Duolingo Spanish. I'm reading simple books, watching Spanish TV and plan to join a conversation group. I'm having a great time learning and have found wonderful TV programs to enjoy. In fact, I've dropped most of my cable package as I'm only streaming novelas.
In the future I plan to travel to a Spanish-speaking country.
It's not easy learning a foreign language at this age, but I feel that it has improved my memory and concentration. The best part--it's free.

Congratulations. I am so proud of you for sticking to your resolution. It is great that you have gotten to a point where you can read and understand. The idea of traveling and being able to speak the language is exciting. You keep at it and keep growing.
