New update
Been really busy. Obviously work is still crazy. Ordered the kitchen cabinets today, finally. I thought Paul had ordered them already but there were some final things to deal witih, like hardware. Got a great deal from Home Depot. Big percent off, all hardware included for free, free shipping, 5 free slide out drawers. I am guessing all said and done, we got close to $4,000 off my brother's price for same cabinets. Total for cabinets and hardware was only $10,900! Big U shaped kitchen with island. And they are Cherry Kraftmaid cabinets. I am really happy. Going to buy the granite tomorrow. Floor guy coming on Wednesday. We are looking at the Bellawood at Lumber Liquidators. It is SO much cheaper than Bruces' Flooring at Home Depot! And a lot nicer. Went to look at faucets today. It was a speialty kitchen and bath store. I knew I was in trouble when she said "Is your budget under $1000 or over $1000?" For a kitchen faucet? Are you kidding me? She was not. The faucet I picked out was $689! OMG! But it is a Groehe and will last forever. The crap at Home Depot and Lowes is 1/2 plastic and costs $200-$300! I cannot believe that stupid faucets cost so much money! Paul pushed back the delivery of the appliances. We are now looking at starting in mid August ripping out cabinets and ripping up floor. Paul needs to order the bay window now.
Went to my brother's (Sal) for Mom's birthday yesteray. Mom turned 65. it was really nice. My sister Annette was there and her boyfriend and two of her 3 kids. Also, my other brother, Rob, was there with his wife and two kids. (This is the brother I had the fight with.) Oh and my Uncle Bob (mom's brother) was there also and Nigel (Sal's best friend from High School who we all called the fifth sibling since he was such a fixture at my hosue.) It was really nice. It was a little uncomfortable wtih Rob. I would go on the deck. He would come in. I would come in, he would go out on the deck. I texted all of them today and told them all, including my SIL, Rob's wife, that I enjoyed their company and loved them. And I told Rob in my text that I was sorry. If I hear back, fine. We'll see. But I felt bad and I apologized and now I am not going to feel guilty anymore.
My food has been horrendous! Exercise is ok. no Y workouts thought. I am 93% of the way done Wii Walk It out. I am going to be bummed when it is done. Going to have to go back to Wii Fit Plus for a while. I will most likely start a new island down the road and do it again. But will take a break for a while. I just love this game. So much so, that I joined their page on Facebook! At least I know I am not the only crazy one out there.
Too hot to take many walks outside. Finally getting some much needed rain. Haven't had to cut grass in weeks. All burnt. Wii Zumba comes out 10/19/10! Woo Hoo! Can't wait. That is definitely my next game, unless Konami comes out with Wii Walk It Out 2. I bowled a 218 last week. Haven't bowled a 200 game in a while. It was great.
I finished Daniel Oran's book "Believe." It was a good book. Quick read. I am now reading Rachel Simon's "Building A House with My Husband." this book is about relationships and she tells the stories as she and her husband are renovating their Wilmington Delaware home. (Yes, apparently, she lives very close to me.) I highly recommend this book for anyone going through a difficult time, or sou searching or just interested in a good read. It puts a lot of things into perspective for me. (I have been thinking of you Yoohoo.) I am 3/4 of the way through. She also wrote "Riding the Bus With my Sister" which was ultimately made into a Hallmark movie and starred Rosie O'Donnell as her sister Beth who has some mental disabilities.
Anyway, still having computer issues. I type a sentence and wait a few minutes for it to appear on my screen. That is how slow. Still no Mozilla. Ugh!
I will try to catch up with all of my dear friends this week! Thanks for sticking by me and all of the wonderful support! Love you all!
