New Trust

A childhood memory I am nearly ready to trust is from my pre-verbal years. Somewhere before 1964 when I finally started talking around the age of 10. Brothers and sisters were arguing about the difference between GI Joe™ and Barbie™. I have no memory of participating in the argument. I do remember concluding that the difference was on the inside. Neither my biologist, nor my engineering talents could leave that one alone. I dissected both sets of dolls.
I can never know, but I do believe the consequences are one of protected memories. Brothers and sisters were united in the cry, "String her up!" I believed I ended up hog tied in a closet for a very long time.
I am nearly ready to trust the memory, but still there is no way to confirm, nor deny it. Trust is an act of faith for me. Perhaps the toughest.
