new tree's planted

I've planted three new tree's and the change has me asking why I didn't do so years ago. No photos yet but the spaces are all coming together now, especially the back yard. Virtually nothing had happened behind the house until three years ago. The thing is, that's one of the best views from the house. The back porch is composed of a hundred of 8x11 glass panes providing bright mornings and a place to sit and think. But the view was abysmal. Several years ago I put a glass door between the kitchen and porch to bring in more light. Now I have a green curtain of curly willow set back 10 feet from the porch. It feels inspiring now... completely changed the space. I also planted two more willows off the front porch. Its about creating space for me. Undulating green textures... a little privacy, but more about interesting things to distract the eye, as well as the mind.
