I am new to this site. Not computer savy at all. Just looking to have
discussions with people who also have my disease, dermatomyositis.
Am 50 yrs. old, female, finally got my password to work, now I cant
figure out how to talk to you all. Any help would be appreciated!

We are here, i am also a Dermatomyositis patient. I am 50 in Aug. There are some really great people here to talk with. Start a question thread to get the most response. I have had skin DM for years and the muscles started fast and furious in 2011 Feb for me. I have improved some and then had a flare, so i am now on IVIG, second round starts tomorrow. I will check in if i feel up to it, but will be back to responding regularly next week. Welcome and sorry you qualify for our little group.
Be sure to find The Myositis Association Website at TMA.org. They are the biggest research and support organization for our disease. Good research based articles there.
