New to dating a soldier

So today is the day that my amazing man left for deployment in Japan for two years. It was the hardest thing I ever did to say good bye.  I need some help. With how we can talk as much as possible. What kind of things I can send him and everything. This is his first deployment and he was a little scared.  I'm looking for someone to talk to a lot to help make the next two years go by faster
