New things
Just getting used to the new tummy coming into my life. Starting to get things under control where I can tolerate things. I added some new exercises to my regime and have injured my arm and my knee. Can't understand why its just the right side but roll with the punches.
I helped the bio mom of my son out of a bad situation with her home environment and took her and her two other kids (a three year old and a newborn) into the house until she could find her own place. Luckily we found her a place really quick just down the road from us so I could still be there to help her. However, she and the three year old are happily enjoying the new home and the baby has been with me the whole time. It's really hard getting used to middle of the night feedings but we are starting to get a routine down. He's starting to sleep four hours at a time at night between feedings so that is good. He is four weeks old as of last Sunday and weighs in at a whopping 8 pounds. He's only gained a pound and an ounce since he was born and I found out that his mom was only mixing 1 scoop of formula in 8 ounces of water. The baby has only been in my home two weeks and I think he gained that pound in the two weeks being here. He is way more content than when he first came for certain. I think mom is going to sign him over to us and we will have another bundle of joy to raise. But thats ok I have room in my heart for more.

I really wish that I could find a baby to adopt, my boys are 15, 19, and 21 and only the 15 year old still lives at home so it is very lonely around here after raising 3 boys. You are a great woman and I really hope that you get that baby :)
