New Summer

It is officially summer now at our house.  That means my husband is off work for the summer as his teaching duties are over.  It seems like an extended weekend.  There is a whole sifting of the "at home" paradiam.  My main method of operation is to do a task, like walking the dog, washing dishes, cooking supper, then sit.  Work, sit, work sit.  Sometimes, just sit and sit some more.  If it is a high pain day, well there is more sitting than working.  But he is such an active guy, out one door in the next, off to the farm to plant seeds, back home for a bike ride.  He is always moving.  It is so hard not to feel defensive about my "inactivity."  Even though I know it is what is best for me.  I need to stay true to what will help my body.
