New semester

Haven't written a journal entry in a while.
Today is the beginning of the spring semester. Instead of feeling excited, though, I just feel anxious and nervous. First off, there's the fact that I still look like a cross between a porcupine and a sea urchin because my hair's so short. I don't like the thought of my current appearance being people's first impressions of me. They'll probably think I'm weird for having such short hair and judge accordingly, and there's nothing I can do about it.
Secondly, I'm not looking forward to all the stress and work and toil I know the semester will bring. I'm worried that, although I've been pull-free for 56 days now, I will fall off the wagon again. The longest I've ever gone without pulling was 2 months or so, and I'm almost there. I don't want to mess up. I don't want to pull--I want to grow out my hair and feel pretty. I want to like the way I look.
Well, I will keep coming to DailyStrength every day. I will exercise better and eat healthier, and I will continue to think positive thoughts even when life gets tough. And I will hope for the best. Here's to a thousand, a million, a trillion more pull-free days ahead.
