This is my first entry and I have to keep it short. My sweetheart signed us up on here and I'm good with that because she suffers with my pain too. She married me 26 years ago, even though I already had this condition for 7 years, I've heard that it usually works the other way, the partner leaves after the pain starts. I really hope that's not true, but humans are human...
This morning I found out that I have to have another MOHS surgery on my face, second time but at least it's basal cell rather than squamous again. The last time I saw this Doctor he had to do a MOHS on my neck and used a pig skin graft. By the time I was done with the oinkment jokes, he was ready to see me go, LOL. I'll have to come up with some new material.
Thanks for listening!

Well, the simple little basal cell MOHS ended up making a half dollar size hole in my face, right were there was a previous hole from a MOHS surgery. The problem from that was that the skin was already so tight from that surgery and from having had a radical neck dissection that there almost wasn\'t enough skin left to cover the hole. He stretched and STRETCHED, and finally got it pulled over the hole. Now my face looks like a hairy baseball. I have to be honest, during the drive home, alone.. I actually broke down in tears. I\'m not a vain guy, I couldn\'t be after all my surgery, but who want\'s to be so bad they scare children? Oh well, I\'ll be OK.
Well, after reading the above, all I can say is that I have one of the best surgeons ever to wield a scalpel! The horrific scarring has all but disappeared and the \"Baseball\" ridge is likewise almost gone. I had a scar from near my nose over to just under my right earlobe, and now I can\'t even see it in the mirror. My wife can barely see if looking straight at it! All that worry...
Of course on the pain front, it\'s still a horrible as ever, you guys all know that. I\'ve all but ground to a stop on being able to do anything related to my LASER business and it has all fallen to my brother-in-law, (thank God for him!) It\'s been a downward curve since the day I started, (I told my partner that I might be able to help out long enough to figure out how to do the impossible, and did patent pending, but that 9 months mostly off some on would be it.) But I had hoped I would be able to \"Force\" myself to continue. You know how it is, I HATE BEING ON DISABILITY!!!! I so wanted to be able to use my brain to be able to make it off. However, it shows that even when you are able to invent a new, never before available Medical (Xray targeting device that is pretty much invisible to the Xray, it tricks it), you are STILL disabled when you have chronic pain. It still catches up with you and cuts your feet right out from under you.
At least there are a bunch of Pain Clinics, VA Hospitals, University Medical Centers, a USAF Hospital, an Army Hospital, and State Medical Centers, using this thing to help people. Even in Robotic Surgeries. But now I hurt too bad to even go in and help so it may have to go on without me... Waaa, Man, I can always find something to snivel about. It\'s just hard because, like it or not it\'s almost all out of my brain, despite how long it took for me to push it past the pain, and I wanted to continue to improve upon it and now I can barely do anything. It takes week for me to get up the energy to post on here and my hands and arms are already going numb from just this little bit of typing. How about a ten layer CAD drawing that has to be perfect? The level of concentration to do that is pretty much beyond me now. It\'s giving up that is making me sad.
Sorry if this comes off as bragging. It was God\'s own miracle that he gave me this idea and now it feels like giving a child up for adoption because I\'m disabled.
