New RE Appt
To say that this last BFN was difficult to deal with would be an understatement! I tried really hard not to get my hopes up but I did. I tested too early, saw a faint line, become elated thinking everything was working this time, only to test again and watch that line go away. I have never tested the trigger shot before but I am pretty sure that is what that was and I was also using a blue line pregnancy tests and I read that those are notorious for giving false-positives because the vapor line dries a hint of blue. It was devastating to say the least.
We have decided to seek a new RE as our current clinic is unable to offer IVF using donor sperm. Something about the facility they use for storage is unable to house it or something...not really sure. We can still go back and do another IUI if we want and we haven't ruled that out completely because the procedure and meds are 100% covered! But I think we both just feel like it's time to move on to IVF. I have set up a new patient consult on 5.28 at the Austin Fertility Institute. So hopefully we will be able to move forward with that. Thankfully my parents have offered to help us financially for IVF, but I'm just not really sure how to go about asking them for real when it comes time for it. But I guess we'll cross that bridge when we need to!
Thank you all for your support and like always, I am thinking of you all and praying that we are all given the chance to be parents one day!

Glad to hear your new plan is underway! We had a few failed iuis and then had success with our first completed ivf! (First one was cancelled hand way through bc one follicle much larger than the rest)) She just turned two and life is amazing. Hang in there!!

I am also so sad to hear about the bfn but am excited about what the future holds for you with these changes coming! Keep the updates coming! :)
BFN\'s are always hard but they harder to accept when everything looked so good. I am excited you are considering IVF. I really think it is the way to go, even though our IVF resulted in miscarriages it was the only time I have ever gotten a real BFP.
