New puppy *observations*

Puppy in question ... goes by the name "Max" ...
-------------------------------------------------------
Well done! 50% of the time... hits the potty pad. The other 50%? Poo poos under the table or chooses the most difficult spot to reach.)  I think Max REALLY?  Sometimes I wish I were a contortionist - it would be a lot easier.
Happy energetic little man...LOVEs to climb not afraid of much. Look over to check on him -he is standing on the pile of sleeping bags and pillows stacked against the wall oh about 4 feet high. Slid down it like it was a slide ( arms splayed out for traction.) Big sigh of relief -- if there is anything that he could slide down... he couldn't have been on anything softer. Oh, of course once down - he couldn't wait to get back up there again- NOPE little man.  Maybe when your little arms and legs are a bit longer and stronger.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course, it is most important for puppy  (teething especially) to have toys and chewing matierial ( that is if you don't care about your shoes.) I only have three pair of "Converse" to my name so- its importnat to me.  We bought the lot...everything we needed for playtime and chewing urges. Giant pet store- so many things to choose from! Toys for every step of your dogs development. There are toys for your dogs emotional security and happiness. There are aides for when they are sluggish or too hyper... cute little stuffed animals of every size and shape -all well and good but...
Max has his favorites. Some he CAN'T play with but he tries.
 - A plastic grocery bag.  Zero dollars.
   - Empty baby wipe container - Zero dollars.
    -Plastic water bottle-- Zero again.
-Empty boxes... any size will do...
His "wee wee"  pads...  NOT zero dollars... guessing about 25 cents per piddle.  All well worth it, when he actually uses them...
    ------------
The fun we have with him... the love we exchange...hugs.. cuddles...laughter!  All zero dollars -- all priceless.
