New Phone :)

Today I got my new phone installed. I finally have the phone I want- a landline in case of an emergency that I can use if the power goes out. It just took me 2 different companies to get it. Comcast said that their phone could be used in an emergency since it had a backup battery, but when I called tech support they said the battery only lasts 6 hours! What if there was a hurricane and the power was out for a couple of days? It wouldn't work. So I got AT&T landline. It's the same price (after the promos come off) and I can hopefully get a refund of the Comcast stuff, since the guy who I talked to originally said the battery could last up to a week. 6 hours is a huge difference from a week, so I have full right to be mad. I had the guy from AT&T at my house today fixing the wiring, so it works and everything's good!
Speaking of phone calls, I called my friend Lucy last night... she was having a rough night. She's pregnant and due any day now, and she got lectured by someone who had no business telling her the things she did. She was having a bad night, and I just happened to call at the right time. I talked her down from her crying, and helped her feel better. I miss that. I used to be people's support all the time, and now most of the people I talk to are pretty stable (compared to who I used to talk to) and I don't have to do much of consolations. I guess I should be happy that my friends are happy, but it does make me feel better to feel needed. I guess it's part of the borderline thing, where I need to feel needed. Or it's just me being human. Who knows? It's not a big enough of a thing for me to talk to my therapist tomorrow about it.
That's another thing. I have therapy tomorrow and I don't know what I'm going to talk about. She's not going to be too happy that I haven't been getting out of the house as much as I should have. I was supposed to try and go to the library to get out of the house. I did move the laptop into the office for the daytime use and I have used it in there to get out of bed, but I still use it in bed at night to wind down and do my journals. I didn't do any workout today, so I feel like crap. It's not too late for me, but at the same time I don't want to. I guess I should push myself and just get it done. Okay, it's some time later, but I did my exercises. I should feel a bit better now. Did my stuff, and took my meds.
Sleep- I didn't get a lot of sleep last night, and I had to take klonopin this morning. I didn't fall asleep until after 1am and woke up before 6am. I finally gave in and took some klonopin around 7:30am and fell back asleep from 8am to noon. I also took an hour nap later today. Hopefully I can sleep tonight... I'm tired but I've been tired all day and haven't been able to sleep. I spent most of the day in bed again, trying to sleep (apart from when the guy was over fixing my phone) but having it not work. Mood- I'm going to put okay for today, since I'm tired and not feeling great, but not feeling horrible. I'm also getting sick. I have a sore throat and kinda a head cold. Food- I didn't eat nearly enough today, but I don't feel like eating much today, and tomorrow is going to be a big calorie day, so I'm just going to let it be. Stress- Just want to sleep, that's my only stress.

I am like you, it is nice to feel needed, be it a bipolar thing or just a human thing, either way, it is indeed nice ti feel needed. It was nice that you were able to be helpfull to her and calm her some. Have a great weekend, I am going out of town for a few days, camping.
