New Med - Not so sure?

I've had some good weeks and now I'm on day 4 of taking Lyrica -- just one 75mg capsule at night.  Every day my pain and hand numbness has gotten worse.  I was doing really well for me before taking it but I don't know if this is just a coincidence as I'm on my PMS week of hormones? My symptoms always get worse on this week and I don't care if the docs say my hormone levels are normal, they're wacked out.  I know my body and for me to have such a drastic change in eating habits, swelling in hands, feet, and throughout my face and body, feels icky.  But thankfully I am not feeling so anxious or down as I was at the start of January.
I have some anxiety/stress producing events this week as I will be meeting with my son's teachers and other professionals at the neighborhood school to discuss kindergarten placement for next year.  In a month he will be 5 -- it seems strange to say that! -- and kindergarten is right around the corner.  He missed the last week of school and therapies due to a cold which is still lingering.  But I think I will have him go to his appointments this week as long as he seems like he can handle it.
My oldest daughter is having bad symptoms of PTSD/anxiety and she is not handling going to her 2 classes at school or work very well.  I don't want her to lose her job over this, so I'm calling Monday morning to get her in about the anxiety.  She saw a doc on Friday about the migraine/nausea component of this.  I feel like one of us around here is always falling apart.  If it's not me, it's my husband.  If it's not him and me, it's my daughter.  I want off this roller coaster, please!
BUT Lyrica.  WTH are the real person side effects?  Fibromyalgia is a bitch.  That's all I can say.
