New Journal

Hi thought I would update. I'm doing good. I had a good Christmas. Spent with my daughter and my 2 grandsons.  I come home and I feel lonely. I'm in a depression and It seems like I can't get out of it.  I could stay in bed all day if I could. I'm on clexica and it seemed as if it was working.  Maybe its just the hoildays and feeling like I'm not a whole person. I made it though Brents death it now has been a year. But this sadness has got to go. I'm praying and asking the Lord to help.  I will keep on praying and maybe my prayers will be answered. I'm happy I have friends on DS. or I don't know how I would cope with it all.Hope everyone is well and Had a Great Christmas.

Oh Terrie - there is no time limit on grieving for it brings healing. We don\'t want the symptoms of grief to consume you either. Depression and loneliness are a real part of grief and these feelings can spring up during the holidays or anytime. Embrace these feeling and don\'t stuff them. Its ok to pull the covers up and cry. And its ok to laugh and rejoice too!

Some people go through it before the season starts and some after. Just know that you are not alone on this journey the Lord is with you. We celebrated the Birth of Christ Emmanuel the Lord is with thee! He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Much love my dear friend!
