New Here

Hello World, 

I'm new to this site but not to the CIU. I was diagnosed with CIU about 6 years ago. I have gone through bad flare ups, remission months and hives again. Usually it's when my stress and depression are high.  Other times it just shows up only because it feels like it.  All my flares up are bad but the absolute worst is when it shows up on my palms of my hands, my fingers and my toes. It is maddening how much I want to crawl out my skin and run away.  Usually lasts a week, I take Zyrtec, Benadryl, Pepsid, or Zantac, and when they are so big I have to add Prednisone.  I'm at urgent care so much, I should have my own room.  My allergist wants get rid of the Prednisone but I only take it when the hives seem to crawl and unite into a huge welt.  I can't go to work, class looking like Quasimodo's bride. No one in my life knows anyone or has ever experienced CIU.  I really hope that I fit in, on here.
