New here.
Hello!
I just joined the site last night and am looking forward to exploring a few of the support groups. I just found out this week on Tuesday that I'm having both Complex-Partial Seizures and a tic disorder, which is possibly Tourettes.I'm having both motor tics, like shoulder/head jerking and muscles clenching/rippling down my back, and vocal tics- used to be hiccups, but now is hissing through the nose and goose-like honking noises, with some m(r)eeps thrown in.
I'm just wanting to get feedback and see how other people deal with both conditions. I'm currently halfway through my BFA and find that this is definitely a stressful period to my life. My mom and step-dad are saints, as far as I'm concerned, with how much they're helping me deal with all of this. Since driving is not a possibility for me, for... I don't know how long, they're having to drive me to most of the places I need to go. It's definitely taxing on both of us.
I have a lot of testing ahead of me, to make sure there isn't other problems and to see what all is going on with the conditions I do have. Here's to the long bumpy road!
