new guy at work is not working out//very busy with rescue calls//110 in sun/89 in shade
its 110 in the sun and 89 in the shade. lol. having another awful day, but its august so no surprise and i kept waking up last night, no idea why. the new guy at work, is not going to work out. i went over his stuff yesterday and its wrong again. they also don't like the hours he works on thursday. grrr. also someone claims that he is full of himself and thinks if you are polite to him that you want to screw (have sex) with him. very naive person, if that is true, and very sheltered - if he is a movie watcher and home most of the time, that would be why he thinks so weird.
it could also be, people who think like that often have mental problems, now is that bipolar or is that schizophrenia/narcissism? he's not even good looking, so its very odd that he thinks like this - but he does SAY things like this ALL THE TIME about allll people. i have never seen or heard anything like it. WORSE than jf used to be, and jf was super-offensive - the kids hated him and didn't want him visiting at all.
can't tell if someone is lying there. the person that said this is a guy. omg! doesn't mean its true, but we have had other things like this happen in this office through the years. we are here to WORK. NOTHING ELSE. just work. if you need to turn work into anything else then you are probably desparate and need to work somewhere else where being like that is okay (perhaps a stripper club? or a brothal? lol.)
but he does have a potty mouth and you can't act like that at any job, anywhere. its very odd. i told him to apply at other places, its easier than getting into the whole thing. our manager says if he is at a bigger place, that is busier (i thought that might work), he won't get lost in the bustle, it will just be MORE of a problem - more victims, more comments. all this from a "supposed" college student. but there are all types with that as well. what a mess.
there is lots of this lately, wonder if its because its summer. generally, its the old man at this office causing 90 percent of the chaos. must have been very difficult to work amongst men like that a long time ago. nowadays, that generation is mostly deceased. never occurred to me that there could be another generation of them amongst people with no manners. maybe bartending would work. he mentioned on his interview that he sticks out. i thought he meant he was a hard worker. lol. guess not. he meant what? he curses a lot and makes sexual comments at men and women? omg! he also called someone a skag, or so the man says. this is really NOT OKAY. i said to the manager was it from our office or someone else and he says, it doesn't matter WHO it was, it matters that it happened here (also there should be an "if" in there, since its one person against another). i have a feeling its true though.
e called to let me know she adopted out the 3 orange kittens to her step-grandaughter and her friend. yay! she is also waiting on her biopsy for the cancer on her face. i keep forgetting that she has that. she also needs to bring the hunting dogs for rabies shots. not a good time of the year for that. too hot.
then mike called saying he has kittens, no mom. that was quick. then km called saying there is also a mom with ONE kitten, she sounded really wound up about this, saying she drove an hour to get to mike's to do a pick up, but has no room for any of them anyway. then she asks me all these questions that she already has answers to, pretty odd. though maybe she forgot? don't have a clue what she is doing, i don't really know her. stevenr knows her. and since the ones that harrass people all the time claim to know her, i was assuming that she was calling for them (the harrassers call total strangers and tell them off. this happens YEARLY. its stuff like that, that makes so many people not want to do rescue. lately they have been having mr call and a few months ago it was rg. are you kidding me? i have never met these people, but its always the same bunch harrassing total strangers for about ten years now. omg isn't that stalking?)

I\'m surprised that guy at work hasn\'t been fired yet. There is no acceptable reason for him to be making comments like that. Just because someone has a college degree doesn\'t mean that they are civil. I know someone who is super intelligent but socially awkward and doesn\'t have a high school diploma but understands things like quantum physics. I feel like we are on the same intellectual level and I have a Bachelors from USC.
The new guy needs to go. That could possibly be sexual harassment, couldn\'t it? Ugh. Good luck with that! *HUGS*
yeah, i think it IS sexual harrassment, we actually had to fire a \"nice\" guy a few years ago, just for telling a customer that he \"saw her in his dreams last night\" (i think he had a crush on her) the woman said it was the second time he said something like that, so she went to our main office about it and he was GONE the next day. he claimed he realized he was wrong and shouldn\'t fight the firing when he put it the other way, would he say the same thing to a man. he wouldn\'t. with that one, he was a great guy, so it was a shame it happened at all. with the new one, lots of mistakes and lots of potty mouth, he has only been here since june. if we were making more money, we would be getting better people.
the potty mouth guy isn\'t a college grad, he\'s merely in college. i think the assumption when you read his resume, is that he is almost done with college, but the truth is, he hasn\'t even started his college LEVEL of classes. if you don\'t test in high enough, people take the college prep classes or \"oo\" level classes that ordinary college students take in high school or prep school to get ready for college.
i\'m actually the one who hired him and should fire him, its unlikely they would go over my head to fire him, though they could. i suggested he try a different field, like maybe psych tech in a hospital, he likes to talk a lot and part of that job is to talk to the crazy people, you don\'t need a degree of any sort for that job and he\'s a big guy, so when the crazies have a bad day, he\'s the right size to handle it.
yeah, i know, a lot of people aren\'t smart at all who are in college, they just do their homework, and pass everything and that is all that matters. i don\'t think there are really dumb humans anyway, the species is smart in general, i think in life its a matter of lazy or diligent, if you work at things you learn more and know more, if you are lazy and never work at anything, you will be dumb because you aren\'t putting anything in there - they could be smart, they are just letting themselves not be smart because they are lazy.
