New Grandchild

I am happy!  I have a new grandson, Finley.  He was born 6/12/09.  I have been staying with Jocette for two months now.  I will be going home next weekend.  Before I go, I am going to stay a couple of days with daughter Monique and her 3 kids (& husband).  Jocette and Monique are my last 2 out of 5 children.  They love mom to come and stay with them, and so do the kids.  I am feeling happy now.  My grandson Roy was put in a home in Syracuse, the city I live in.  So, I will be seeing him twice a week once I get home.  He will be there for a year.  Heaven is still with her father and step-mother.  We probably will not be able to see her until she gets old enough to make her own decisions.  I love her so much.  Roy and Heaven are my oldest two grandchildren.  Heaven bonded with me as her mother, Amanda, my third child,  was so attached to Roy.  So, I have really gone through all kinds of feelings about what is going on.  But, almost a year later, I have worked through this and am happy.  After all, they are not the only grandchildren I have.  So, I concentrate on the fact that I have so many to love.  My love for Heaven will never be less.  It is just on hold until we can see her again.  So, life is good right now.
