New divorce

Just found out after 18 years. My wife wants a divorce. I try to ask why. The only thing she says is she need to find herself. She do not know who she is anymore. She say she still loves me.she just wants her freedom. What does that even mean. I know we have ups and downs money never there. I want to just give up. It seems like no matter what I say or do I'm attacking her or talking down to her. We separated for a month. When she came home for the first 2 weeks were amazing. The best time we had together in a long time. Then the last 2 weeks she been distant. Seem like she didn't even want to be around me. I guess I just want to know if its worth fighting for. Do I give up. Does it get better. Is it really over.
