New diagnosis and starting treatment

okay!  I have not been on here in a very long time.  A lot of stuff has happened since I was last on here.  My lungs have continuously gotten worse, I have been intabated a.total of 5x' s in 2014.  I have been in the hospital so much I can't even count how many times I've been in.  Beginning in Jan of 2014 my respiratory doctor sent me to a immunologist because the blood work showed that my IGG and IGA were very low.  The immunologist did a skin allergy test to make sure I didn't have anything that would cause my Immune system would be low we found that the only thing I was allergic to was dust mites which pretty much everyone has.  He then ran some blood work the blood work showed they GIG AND IGA were both low he diagnosed me as having MEL Deficiency he wanted me to get two immunization shots then a month later do the blood work again to see if my body developed antibodies. I finally after a couple of months got the results back which show that none of my antibodies went up well one came up but barely my doctor said in all the 40+ years he's been practicing he has never seen a case as bad as mine. He said that if I get any infection anywhere it goes directly to my lungs.  I have to pretty much stay at home, wear a mask wash my hands frequently. He said I basically I have no immune system at all. I'm supposed to start gamma 1 infusion therapy which I'm scared to death about.  So if anyone who has had it or is going through it please please let me know. I'm also having to have what's called Bronchialplasty where they do a bronchoscopy and burn all the bad tissue out of your lungs so that when you get sick and your lungs spasm and gets swollen it will have more room for your lungs to expand.
