AA--Attitude&Acceptance.
Was diagnosed with bladder cancer today. Grateful I have been given the gift of acceptance and a good attitude most of the time through the 12 steps.

You\'re in my thoughts and heart for the journey ahead G. I\'ve two colleagues at work. One has just been given the all clear after bladder cancer, and the other still in treatment. They\'ve come a long way with the types of treatment for bladder cancer and there\'s a good success rate. You\'re not alone G. I forgot that along the way, but had a swift kick up the ass from a young lady and also a good friend here at DS, so be prepared, if we don\'t hear from you, a swift kick up the butt will be passed on to you. I know if it\'s not me, it\'ll be the mates above. Love you G, you\'ve been a tower of support to us all here, even when we don\'t chat, just having you around here makes me feel less alone that\'s for sure.
The title of \"new Chapter\" speaks volumes. It\'s the best way to tackle this type of hurdle in your life.....by simply treating it as another new chapter. You\'ll continue to be in my thoughts and prayers, and thanks for all that you do on DS.

Thank you so much my friends for the kind words and concern. It all goes back to when we all got sober we find were NOT ALONE and that people really care are there for ya. Will keep everyone updated as I found out more.

Great News, just got the call if there is a best kind that\'s what I have and they got it all in the procedure. Just need to follow up in 60 days...What a relief!!!

Great news G. They\'ll probably put you on regular checks. How do they do that with bladder cancer? is it a tinkle job or biopsy? Do guys tinkle?
