New Beginnings...
Easter weekend really developed into an eye opening experience. Actually, many emotional and self-awareness exposures. It took all the strength that I could muster to enthusiastically step up and think positive about venturing to my brother's for Easter. There is so much love there and so very much understanding..it was almost too good for me. The morning made huge demands and I somehow centered and smiled at the thought of family, a soothing passage, a grand scheme, trusting that if I saddened the approach would be of understanding. I looked in the mirror and saw an aging man, have aged so much this past year with worry and heartache expelled but also due to wisdom and insight gained. Sometimes, the truth hurts and can overwhelm. Kimmee's story of the fish in the mirror flashed, made an imprint and left me to the core of myself without doubts..stimulated my reflection. I trusted in the rightness of the day "New Beginning(s)", trusting in the rightness of a plan - however we may define the higher power that is its source, and nuturing ourselves to be the best, these tasks renewed my energies even as I performed. Men and women in every place in time have pondered, struggled, succeeded and failed in much as the same way as me. In every case, they had the drive to begin their journeys anew, day after day. They are like all of us. We are like all of them; going forth one day, tentatively the next. Importance: The journey has just begun here..it is simply that we are all making it, alone and yet mysteriously together......

YOU deserve LIFE to treat you well...the truth may hurt but it will set you free. Accept the nurturing that the lessons bring you and you are not alone....Thank you for being in my path....
Oh wow this is such a touching journal. I can so relate to what you are saying. I too had step up to what the expectations of my family were for me. Your journey is not alone, there are many of us walking in step to that same drum of new beginnings and renewal. thank you playmate.
I know that I wouldnt be half as together (well if you can call it that) as I am if you werent mysteriously going through all this with me.. Im not sure what the aging man in the mirror looks like to you.. but what I see, and what I think everyone else here sees is a man that is wise beyond his years, comforting even when he may not feel 100% he is always willing to help anyone else feel 100%.. You do deserve the very best life has to offer, and I have no doubt you will find it...
now stop thinking so much and get on the green =D ... if Im ever near your neck of the woods.. GOLF CART RACE!!.. (always wanted to see if I can turn one on two wheels =D )
(((Meddle))) I think of the story often and the circumstances in which I shared it with you even more. A day could not have been more beautiful than that one. For me, you will always be that young thang sitting on the rock, the sun at your back, that beautiful smile from deep within etched on your face, and the warmth of the sun on mine. I have no doubts that someone wonderful is looking for you , right now as we speak. I am so thankful that you have your wonderful family to bask in their love for you. I was so privileged to be a part of this circle for the time I spent with you, and I will never forget the river, the laughter, the spirit, the music, and the man.. Love and hugs, Kimmee
You always have a way of getting through the fog and finding the positive in any situation. I\'ve known those moments of looking in the mirror--seeing things I don\'t want to see but sometimes seeing things that are good.
Yes, we are all traveling the same road but I will say I am always happy to know you are on this road with me. I would have never made it without your support. ((((((Meddle))))))
thank you
you made me pause, clear my mind and find my center. Only then was I able to take in your message and understand it.
thank you
What a great post, meddle. New beginnings, indeed.
So many things here to ponder, your Easter stance is inspiring - eyes open is always good, stepping up is admirable, and \"trusting that if I saddened the approach would be of understanding\" - that is a beautiful articulation of that feeling - thank you!
Let\'s embrace aging. I think it can be done so well. For me, Easter = Acceptance, and that one is on my plate this year as well.
\"left me to the core of myself without doubts..stimulated my reflection\" - whoa I am craving that! getting there, inspired to continue...
\"trusting in the rightness of a plan\" - another sweet trust phrasing, I like this getting really specific about what to trust. Not just \'people\' or \'myself\'... and the universal experience, comforting as well.
This was like reading poetry, and also like sunshine. Thank you!
