New Beginning
After Monday night, when he found out it was absolutely horrible. He was going to leave and I cried. Then Tuesday morning after a restless night (up at 2:30) I was ready to leave. I began a new goal and I am going to text him each morning to remind him of my # of days and how much I love him.
Talking with an online therapist has helped.
Now working on my plan to keep me intact and show him how I plan to make things better.
Debt will improve in time. Guilt is slowly being let go. Work is better and I am making plans of projects around the house to fill my voids.
I'm going to try to make the GA call tonight.
Love this website and all the support! I will "survive" and be a better person one day!

Hi Byrdie, You are taking the right steps. You should be proud of yourself! It is so hard to come clean to loved ones. People who are not compulsive gamblers just don\'t understand it. Have him listen to a meeting or two so he can hear the other gamblers who are going through the same thing. Or bring him to an open face to face GA meeting. Keep it up! Hugs! Cher
