New Appointment; New Specialist
After having been in my new home in Georgia for about 2.5 months, I've finally gotten around to making wellness appointments (this month) for myself and the hubby with a nearby GP and a dentist. I've also found a specialist for myself that looks promising, but, of course, I wont know for certain how good she is with treating and managing rosacea until I have the chance to properly meet her. This also takes place this month... in 12 days.
I'm excited... thinking maybe she'll have innovative ideas my previous specialist didn't.
I'm scared... thinking maybe she will be ineffective or just completely dismissive... or, worse, maybe she'll want to prescribe something that turns out to have negative effects on my condition.
Such is the dreadful dance of chronic illness. Such is the nature of hope that it always, even in small seeds, springs eternal.

love the last line! very poetic, hope and trust is like planting a seed... and I suppose the way we manage it, is the way itll grow, Good luck with the new specialist! warm hugs.
Thank you so much! I did just have to re-start red light therapy yesterday. I haven't needed it for a month, but last night my symptoms got really neuro and I just had to start it again.
