New Adjustments

My son came home this weekend to spend Mother's Day with me. Yeah...he is such a good boy. Next Friday is the big day...graduation! I am so excited and pleased and proud I can hardly wait. I was never so fortunate to finish college and graduate, so to me this is a great accomplishment. Then he will be home.....then what? We have adjusted to life with only two of us in the house...now we will be a family of 3 or 4 or 5 again...depending on which of his friends are here. This will be a new chapter in our lives...the son is currently job-hunting, so the unknowns are killing me. I like to have all my "ducks in a row". I never know what to expect from my husband...for the most part he is unsupportive and aloof. After 24 years of marriage, I don't even recognize him. He is so "drugged up" on depression/anxiety meds all the time. When we do talk, we end up arguing. He likes to "show off" in front of our son...so things can only get worse. I spend a lot of time in prayer over the situation...but I'm losing hope. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day!
