Never take life for granted

Well never take life for granted....I got one of those calls a parent dreads to get...a police call in the dead of night telling you your child has been in an accident. Mine came sunday morning @ 2:30 am and to add injury to it all her cell failed half way through the conversation...so I dashed out the door to find her and thank god she was allright. The only injuries were from the air bag deploying...I have to tell you I was shocked to see the damage to the windshield on the passangers side, with just the air bag deployment, the force of the air bag shattered the windshield! so I was concerned with my daughters safey and took her to the ER. She was ok after a little panic attack and the fact that I was concerned with her health and not getting mad at her for totaling the car. This brings everthing back to focus that everyday is different and you start each day with the ability to make of it what you want, I choose to hug my daughter and make sure she was ok. Ok after that I had my panic attack about the money issues but I did that out of her sight. I did talk to her after a while that I couldn't finance another car for her that she would have to negotiate with her mother and come up with a "beater car" for awhile untill she could afford to purchase on for herself.  So as they say Hug your loved ones often and don't take it for granted that they will be safe all of the time, be thankful for the days where it is a dull normal day where nothing happens out of the ordinary.
