Never Much of Anything
Predator playing the victim Sharing debilitating pain But a little change of scenery And that all goes down the drain I wore that pain upon my sleeve Carrying sharing the load I could And there I was alone, left standing thereBagholder Boy of damaged good Spent so much time on how you feel Led by what's right in front of you A luxury I couldn't even steal How I felt was always so taboo So the questions found a new way out Whether whimper whisper scream or shout Broken pieces I guess I couldn't live without Demons released and flying all about Then I tried to pick a large shard up Cradled in both hands presentingly You crumbled it like a dixie cup Faster than even the eye can see So now I'll put a new smile on One that just might fit the mold Everyone so full of what they want This Pyrite here was once my Gold And it was never really much of anything at all In at least so much as I've been told March 14, 2006
