Never Forget That Morning Wake-Up Call !!!
March 30th 2012; 4:20 AM. Awakened as I normally do for a bathroom call except this time, it was a bit different. I felt like I was drunk and had quit about 24 yrs earlier. Shook it off as being tired, returned back to my warm bed, about 10 mins.; then the pain started across the back of my neck and shoulders. I then realized that I had been working; laying on my back removing a clutch from the underside of the rider mower where I was working. Maybe a pinched nerve! Got up and went to the front room, poured some water, lit up what was to be my last cigarette. Lit it an took two drags, and it was like an elephant sat om my chest, put it out. Took a few sips of water and sat in my easy chair. Guess I dozed off; as the next I knew it was 6:25 AM. Noticed now that my arms were starting to tingle, as well as pain in my chest and shoulders. Called the shop manager and told him I needed to go to a doctor and believed I had pinched a nerve in my neck; or was having a heart attack. Told him i would call Paramedics; told me he would drive me the 15 mins to the hospital. I must have been in Shock as to not being afraid. Continued!
