Never-ending

I am a worrier - and mostly I worry others.  I have had a lot to worry about lately.  It is at times like this that I miss Lisa the most.  She was the only person I could call and spill my guts.  She would always know how to calm me down.

1.  Tiina's dad's dementia is getting worse.  Tiina and her mom are stressing - they are both emotional, and worriers.

2. I haven't been able to contact Lisa's best friend for a long time. She called to tell me that her son died of an overdose of narcotics - a year ago.  She didn't tell me then as she said I had enough grief losing Lisa - this is her grief.

3.  My neighbour and close friend (literally next door - they have the condo next to us) is being sued by our condo board.  It is a long story but I feel there has been a witch hunt.

4. My other neighbours and good friends are having problems.  Her mom has inoperable metastatic cancer.  Her brother had a ministroke  and was unable to speak for awhile.  He is having a CT scan tomorrow.  Her brother's grandson is in the ICU with meningitis.  Her husband and a good friend is depressed and not doing well.  She is having trouble coping and he is so ill that he is not able to be supportive.  I spent the last 2 evenings with them and am rather shattered.

5. Cevyn and Brendan are having some problems and were about to split up.  She was looking for an apartment.  It was sad but not really surprising - they are young.  I guess they had a long talk a couple of evenings ago and have decided to go to couples counselling.  I hope it helps.

5.  When I got home last evening,  I read my email.  Andrew messaged me to tell me that the comic shop where he works part time is closing at the end of the month.  He is sad but the owner is his friend - the shop was taking a toll on his health.  Andrew has an extended health care plan through the job which will run out in March so he is a bit concerned.

All I can say is that I am done with 2018.  I am not having a pity party but I am sad for my friends and family.

Wishing all the best to all my SOTH at Christmas and in 2019

Thanks again for listening to my whining and snivelling'.

Lisa:  I still occasionally go to call you when I am really stressed. And am jolted each time by the realization that you are not there.  I miss you always and love you forever. Mummy

OH goodness my friend, that is truly a LOT to have on your mind, and of course you're worried for your friends and loved ones. I'm a worrier too, so I have no good advise really. Just know I'm thinking of you and praying for all your friends and family and am hoping with every fiber of my being for the highest good to be the end result for all.

Tight hugs sweet lady~

I am feeling your worry and sadness and understand how it can feel overwhelming at times. I hope that in your sharing some of the load may feel a bit lighter because your one set of shoulders need not carry it all.

I am hoping for the very best outcome too and sometimes we just cannot know what that might be in the moment. The Universe has a way of surprising us in ways that our finite mind could never imagine.

Loving care to your huge caring heart dearest Marlene, and I understand in times such as this not having our go to people such as your Lisa makes it feel even that much more painful.

Hand in hand, Heart to heart to Lisa's mummy from Douglas and me,
XO Joanie

Hello Marlene, I still think about calling Ed too & then the harsh reality hits. I so wish Lisa were here for you to talk about these concerns. The bright spot sounds like Ceyvn and Brendan may work things out with the help of counseling. I hope so.

May 2019 be kind to you. Love always to you and dearest Lisa, Linda ♡
