Neurologist appointment update
My neurologist visit went well...I think. My symptoms have her a bit perplexed. Although my ventricles are enlarged and my CSF flow is slow, I have none of the symptoms of NPH. Hence my appointment with the movement disorder clinic next week. She said that my symptoms are rare. I'm not sure that I want to be rare. Oh well, rare or not, next week it's off to the clinic.
She also had more lab tests done and it seems that even though my vitamin D level is much improved, it still isn't where it should be. So now I'm back on 50000 IU twice a week for the next 5 weeks.
Actually my symptoms are more a nuisance than anything. She keeps asking about headaches but I don't have any. I am also not depressed which is another thing she asks about. Basically I just have a little balance issue now and then. That and my right arm occasionally does what it wants to. But my hand tremors are virtually gone so things aren't too bad since she put me on primidone. So maybe my trip to the clinic will be uneventful I hope so anyway...my medication cabinet is overflowing already.
Other than that, not much happening.
Be well,
Tom

Hey Tom. I just wonder if your doctor needs to step back and reassess your condition. I think it is good news that you are not depressed and you\'re not having tremors. Let us know how your visit to the mvmt disorders clinic goes. You might graduate maybe. :-)
