Online and/or social communities to create economical successes is the true promise of network marketing, once it is rightly understood. In its truest sense, legitimate network marketing organizations are "faith-based communities" cooperating for their financial well-being.

The key to making these systems work for the many people who are without a job or are threatened by job loss is a positive return to the old-fashioned characteristics of self-confidence and a guarded trust in our tribe of associates who have proven their dependability.

We Must Re-Develop Our own Sense of Community or Tribe

There is no question that network marketing works once we deliver the results the MLM companies agree to pay for. The great stumbling blocks are these: 1) The general public has recently been so thoroughly conditioned to doubt their own capabilities to check out the validity of business opportunities; 2) We have also been taught to automatically react to anything related to entrepreneurial activity as a "scam" and dismiss it, as well as the presenters; and 3) The public distrust of their own skills and their acquaintances leaves them at the mercy of corporations and gov departments, which do not have the individual's best interests at coronary heart; and finally, 4) Actually those who timidly try network marketing don't practice the standard qualities of patience, trusting that their own judgement is sound, and don't stick to it long enough to see results.

This also deserves to be mentioned that the general public has been misled by the media to think their best way to acquire wealth is by winning a lottery, becoming a professional athlete, or the rare author or musician who can make it big.

So, if selling is a bad career in many people's mind, however they like to -- and indeed, must -- buy things, why not buy as a tribe and have paid for your brand loyalty and word-of-mouth advertising?
