Nesting...or something
Soooooooo! It going to be about 2 weeks (maybe 3, its the army) and Elijah will be back home! You know how women get that "nesting" thing a few weeks before they give birth, well I think I am having that. I've been to the furniture stores almost everyday getting little things here and there, new curtains and all kinds of "house pretty-ing" things. I even bought a new cat poop box for Miss Kitty in hopes it would help reduce litter fling-age ...No such luck.
I ran the 5k to remember fallen soldiers and PR'ed (personal record) at 25 mins and some change! I also am going to hold off on getting that Biopsy I had originally planned on getting in June. We have a trip to Greece booked for early July and I don't want to take any chances in case I get poked in the lung, or whatever ( I know its like an astronomically small chance of happening) This is a huge trip for us and I am not taking any chances, so I will do it late summer, maybe August or Sept. (no I'm not putting it off...well maybe a little bit
My daughter, Arabella, is awesome and amazing everyday and I adore her, even when I lose my temper with her. Its incredible how in 4 short years you cannot imagine your life without them, and wouldn't want to. When I was pregnant I couldn't fathom being a mom and here I am Loving almost every second of it. well that is my life these days, I hope and pray and wish for everyone here to have long happy lives and daily to find something to make them smile.
G'day mates!
