Nerding Out While Getting Healthy
Yesterday I recorded the nutritional value of everything I consumed. I have yet to put myself on a diet or try to eat healthier, instead, this was just to establish a baseline.
So after a day of tracking, here's the skinny:
If everyday were like yesterday, I'd lose .01 lbs per week.
I'm gaining weight, so that means something is off.
Here's my plan. 1. Time to set some dietary restrictions (calories, sodium, fat, cholesterol, etc) and continue to record the nutritional values for everything I consume. 2. Exercise.
I'm excited because I get to create spreadsheets and graphs, and this process actually serves as a reminder for me to eat... Something which I always forget to do. I'm not at all excited about exercising, but I know the payoff will be worth it.
More soon!
