Negative Nelly, whiner's diner for one!

I'm in a negative mode so forgive me from the get-go.  I should be positive and inspiring and I feel like crap.
 
I promised my brother that I would go for a walk every day like our grandpa did.  Our grandpa got very sick and weak.  He could not walk on his own and needed a walker, but he had not given up on life and just wilted away, waiting to die.  He determined to get up out of bed every day and move his body. He would go in the early morning and walk around a church near his home.  He went so slow at first, barely able to move.  But as he continued, day by day, he became stronger.  Eventually he could go without the walker.  He was able to get off of a few medicines -- I don't remember today if it was his blood pressure meds or diabetes... Anyway, he went slowly, but he got there eventually.
 
I can do what my grandpa could do.
 
I cannot make my body stop hurting.  I was put on Tramadol last Friday to help with pain and it hasn't done a thing except help the diarrhea I had previously.  Yeah, it has the whole constipation effect.  Nice.  But I was taking it for help with PAIN. 
 
I'm starting to fall asleep as I type. It's overcast outside and it makes me crave my bed.  I'm sure I'm not alone.  I have lots to share, but I'll have to go slowly. Today, I took a shower, started laundry, and got the garbage out.  I got the walk in.  That may be all I can do.  We'll see.
