need advice
well today i had a different day jus relaxed all day then drove to an interview which was about an hour away, which is too far nd a bad drive so o well if i dont get it which im pretty sure i wont. o well the real reason of this journal is to ask for help here i really havent been talkin to much to my girl nd i really havent seen her too much. tht was kinda gettin to me but i just found out now tht it was because she was pushin everyone away cuz of the fact tht she is a recoverin aclholic with 14 months sober. she was pushin everyone away cuz she almost drank saturday, i told her tht we or at least i am here to support her with anything. i dont no wat im really askin for i guess im askin if there are good supports systems on here for alcholics so i can tell her to come on here nd make a thingy. cuz ireally want everything to be ok with her nd help her out any way i can. so i am thinkin jus as im writing this tht i will tell her about it nd get her to join in order to help her out more. hope yall are doin good with everything God bless

Well bro, if you haven\'t already, I would join the alcoholics community on this site. That may provide you with some helpful support with this issue. Didn\'t you quit drinking as well? Good for you, I did after my brain injury. You two are perfect supports for each other. Does she know that you don\'t drink either? That may be huge for her to know that you are where she is and you two can be together and help each other with this problem. Try to work it from a support angle bro. Good luck and God Bless
ya i jus recently joined nd even wrote a thingy on there. i have stopped then started then stopped again nd started but wen i 1st met her i was still kinda drinkin but have then stopped again. she knows i have stopped again but she is jus keepin me away which i wish she would stop nd let me help her. i agree it would be a good thing to fight together. thancx for ur input bro
Just letting her know that you are supporting her and realizing that she has to do the hardest work, I\'m sure, will be a big help to her. She may need a little space to work on herself but, hopefully, she\'ll realize you\'ll be there when she returns. Good luck.
