Need a break (again!)

I was doing really well last week at work.  Got a lot of office time and closed out 5 claims and got a lot done.  This week I have been out on the road a lot with huge fires.  Yesterday, I drove 154 miles to the middle of PA on a fire claim.  Stayed overnight in a hotel (computer not working too well) and went to another fire today.  So a lot of driving.  The good news is that I finally finished my book that I have been reading (forever.)  Read all 4 books in the Twighlight series.  Just finished the last one.  So, on to the next one.  Haven't slept too well the last couple of nights though.  Maybe it is all of the stress?   David is just a real bugger.  Still with the mouthiness, talking back, lying.  Still getting up in the middle of the night.  Sneaking in my room to get the portable dvd player while Paul and I are in the family room watching tv.  And he has to really snoop and search to find it.  He was off this week for Spring break.  Can't wait for him to go back to school.  I want to take him off the Adderall in the summer for a month or 2 and see what happens.  Supposed to help him focus.  Well he is taking the medicine and still not focusing!  And he is up all night.  I will have to discuss with his doctor.  And if he isn't getting enough sleep, no wonder he is angry all of the time and mouthy.  Just my feelings. Paul is on Paxil, now for about 5 or 6 days.  Still waiting for things to get better there.  He is also shutting down on me.  He is walking around the house, sad, angry, miserable.  The one positive in my life is my dog.  Apparently she kept coming in my office and sniffing my side of the bed looking for me the last two days.  Was nice to get away, but I really missed her.  Just saying my prayers for David and Paul to get a grip. Got another new fire today.  Going out tomorrow to Philadelphia to inspect 3 more.  So it has just been crazy!  Total eating bad and bingeing and not exercising again.  I need to get back to making myself a priority.  I so desperately need some new jeans and pants and absolutely refuse to ever buy another pair of pants in this size.  I did break down and bought a pair of exercise yoga pants that were 12/14.  My jeans are beginning to look worn and ratty, plus I where them into burned up buildings.  So I am just going to survive this week, not beat myself up and then get back on track this weekend.  The weather is supposed to get better.  Has been rainy and cold the last few days.  I need to make myself a schedule and to do list and keep with it.

Wow that is a lot of miles.... Sorry about David, hopefully adj meds will help! It\'s so hard, stress is not a good thing for anyone. I haven\'t been doing my best at all and very unhappy about it but tomorrow is a new day to start clean so come on board with me and let\'s get r done :-) Don\'t you just love your dog! I love mine too, our little puppy is just so attached to me, probably cuz I\'ve been doing all the work. It feels good to have one completely mine :-) the others are more attached to hubby. Yay on keeping busy with work but not the work load right??? I\'m with ya, my jeans are shot, wear them out completely. I\'m 5\'3 and about 140ish probably up there with these last few bad MONTHS..... but I\'m more bottom heavy but with a thin waist (could be thinner :-) I wear 10/12 jeans and 8-10 slacks, weird huh? I need them for my thick thighs, ha ha. Yay on new yoga pants, something comfy! I sure hope for the nice weather, that always make for a big diff in the way we are, act, etc. I hate these yucky days and more rain headed our way this weekend, I\'m done with Rain Please..... Yep, lets get our list, our good food and our yoga pants and get movin\' - thanks - your the best for cheering me up!!! Love Ya! Happy days ahead!

Busy lady! It is so hard to eat healthy on the road, but do your best to make good choices.
Regarding David, have you done any research as to the effects of certain foods? I think sugars, color additives, etc have a huge effect on people.
Hope you get back home soon and rest up!

You wanna know my first thought? If a child truly has ADHD, and you give them a stimulant, like Adderall, it has the opposite effect on them and calms them down. BUT, if you put a child that does not have ADHD on a stimulant, it will make them hyper. He may have trouble paying attention. And that is ADD - Attention Deficit Disorder. But ADHD is when they are hyperactive as well as ADD. So, the med may be making things worse. He may have been misdiagnosed. I would seek a second opinion, but thats up to you. I will keep you and your family in my prayers honey!

That is true (at least in my oldest son\'s case), what flutterbyfly wrote!
I had him on Adderall, and he said it felt like his heart was gonna explode! I immediately took him off of it! That scared the crud out of me! He has ADD and my middle son has ADHD... But both are not on anything now, and are/have learned some coping skills instead! It works better for them than the meds! Not always the case for everyone tho...
We had to lock things in safe places for our middle guy not to decide to hunt and take stuff! I hate having to be that way too! Funny thing tho., he is the most generous of all my kids! hmmm... IDK
