Native New Mexico Al Anon Conference....
made it to my first native american conference. wow . it is pretty cool. it's the 3rd annual and already good sized. they played the big drums, had the circle of 100 feathers and a speaker that was Samoian tonight. very good. the circle is also set up for offerings of prayer and the sprinkling of tobacco and many of the speakers are speaking first in their native language , which is very cool.
i know that there is much to learn from the program, and i have. i do not really want to go further in service . i never really have. but i will attend a few conferences bc i am not working.
i still feel the desire to work w/ vip very very strongly. that has not left me and i still feel connected to the community w/ my vids, etc.
i feel very disconnected from mh. just very removed in many ways. sad.
i have a counceling session set for tuesday. hmm. we will see what that does.
mm was thrilled that i have gotten out of town. i am having a good time. i feel like i am floating in life... not really lost, but just floating... waiting for a meaningful place to land. it's ok. i will enjoy the cloud ride while i am on it. there must be a preparation before landing so i must be paying attention or at least spending time in meditation and in prayer.
i do enjoy this wonderful, ancient city. ... established so long ago. love the adobe, desert, ristas, chili, everything about it. the mountain san de crista mountains... so beautiful. and the altitude is so nice... i like the dryness....
so this is a very spiritual place.
nite my friends. and namaste

I'm happy dancing across the southern plains for you, Ginger. Over the decades it has taken the love of my life and I to learn how to love and let live, there have been many, many rounds of sadness over feeling so disconnected from him. Here in our silver years, we believe those feelings disconnect were part of the process of losing the adolescent ideals and expectations we had borrowed from outside sources. Riding out the feelings (not facts) of disconnect brought us back together with far more direct and personal connections. The gain was worth the pain.
But that is me. . .
