Narrative Therapy is..

Narrative therapy is quite helfpul. Going into the reasons I think the way I do and focusing on turning points is a positive experience.  I'm feeling challeneged and I really want to get myself back together and need to realise i'm not all that apart and as bad as I SOMETIMES treat myself. I've been exercising every day and this is adding to my willpower to push on with my other habits. I'm going to give thigns that are worth it my mental energy and thoughts and try not to think too much and spend too much time thinking on things that are not worth it or critical. ... I've eaten great all week and been trying to reflect on positive things I do each day.  Every bit counts and I just hope that when I change my environment and spend time away from the areas I've set up to be more easily to handle and control.. I can still keep it together. In other words, I hope I don't ... stuff up my habits... when I go to the boyfriends place mainly. Sigh. I'll get there.. and the reason is because.. I have to AND i want to!

I know how going to a new place kind of changes things up. The kind of destructive thoughts I have involve the \"all-or-nothing\" mentality. It happens a lot to me when I go somewhere in which I can\'t really control what I eat: \"I really have no control over what I eat here...I\'m out of control, so I\'m gonna binge.\"

The truth is, it isn\'t all or nothing, and we always have at least some* control.
