Nuts...

I literally feel like I am losing it!  I am only one day past OV and I am questioning everything about this cycle. I really don't know how much longer I can do this.  I want my baby soooooo badly, but it's so hard with all these hormones etc.  It's like I have a devil on one shoulder and an angel on the other. The angel is like "yeah, this is your month" the devil is like "what do you mean, it hasn't happened yet... why would it now."  AHHHHHH!!!! I just feel like my head is spinning.  Sometimes I can't stop the thoughts. On days when I feel good and my hormones are more in balance I can talk myself down and think more positive.  The problem is- I am a PLANNER. I can't plan while going through this. But every month after I OV- I start to try to plan the next cycle instead of just thinking that this one is IT.  I feel like I am crazy!  Is this common??? Hahahah!

way to common. i lost it last month and this month i\'m trying really hard to embrace a positive attiitude. i also went to a therapist which helped a little. what hormones are you on? i found clomid to be the devil hormone and now i am hoping that the bravelle injections will be better.

I am feeling your pain. I had been making myself crazy during my 2ww but for the last 2 IUI\'s I plan something everyday. Somedays it is just as simple grocery shopping and other days it is going out to eat with one of my friends(who knows what I am going through). On this 2ww one of my exciting things for the day is watching the premiere of THe Biggest Loser! Oh and we can\'t forget American Idol. Plus a few of my days I have planned on baking different things. So after this long response what I am trying to say is plan stuff for the next 2 weeks!! I will be praying for you. I will be praying for moments that your heart and mind can rest.

Ps I always plan my next cycle just incase!

I think the \"planning for the next cycle\" habit is a way of shielding yourself from the hurt if it doesn\'t go well. I do the same thing every time.I put myself on the donor embryo list the same day I had my last IVF.
