My Wife
My wife has made the decision to stop all chemo treatments and let nature take its course. She just spent 4 days in the hospital due to very low white counts due to Influenza A. She says she is at peace with this decision. She was diagnosed with binary cancer in 2022. She had 6 rounds of chemo and was put on a chemo pill which failed. She started chemo again with the continous fanny pak pump and she also tried Cold-Capping to help reduce the loss of her hair. She has not had any type of pain whatsoever during these past 2 yrs. She says she is tired of chemo, traveling 200 miles round trip for treatment every 2 weeks and her Oncologist says her cancer is uncurable so, she said, "what's the point". We celebrated 50 yrs. of marriage in July of 2o24. This is tough for me to think about.

Chemo can be pretty wicked
You are both in my prayers...xo
That's rough news.... and I am so sorry to hear. Your wife sounds like a really strong person, though. I am glad to hear that she is not in pain. I will pray for her. God's grace and mercy be with you both.
i am so sorry .xxx.
I'm so sorry, Pee Wee. Very sad news, but I'm glad she's at peace with her decision, and not in any pain. I just said a prayer for both of you. Please keep us posted, when you can. Hugs.
She has lost all her hair now. She goes for a PET scan on Apr. 21st and sees her Oncologist on the 28th, She says if he prescribes a pill to take for the cancer, she is refusing it. He said the side effects would be dryness of hands and feet. That doesn't sound too much of a side effect but, she says she wants no more side effects from anything. I don't get to make those decisions, She refuses to discuss it with me without getting mad so, I just let it go.,
Last CAT scan showed one tumor had shrunk and the others are staying dormant. It has been 3 months now since she stopped Chemo so, we are thankful for these results. She goes back for another scan, the last of August and we will see what the results are then,. Thanks to all of you for your prayers.
It's very good to hear that the CT scan showed the tumors are dormant. I will continue praying for both of you. Thanks for updating us. Hugs.
That's great news about the CT scan! I pray God heals her.
