My update for happenings in my life...
Today is February the 8th of 2012
Wednesday
Wow! So much has happened since I last posted in my journal.
I guess I should begin with loosing another friend. I met Elizabeth on the bus. She was so funny, inspirational, and I wanted to get to know her better. But that all ended on a Monday evening when she stepped off the bus and tried to cross the street to our complex. She got hit and killed on the spot. I will miss her.
I did give a lady a top of mine in which she loved so much. It brought tears to my eyes as I watched in anticipation when she opened the gift.
She was so happy. I felt so good inside. I have decided to stay here another year before trying to find a more suitable place to live.
Last night I got a call in which found out my only friend here was at the local hospital on life support. Her name is Deb. I will be calling her sister today to find out more information.
Oh, I do have an addition to my apartment. A kitten. His name is Artemis. He likes to play, jump, and of all things? He suckles on my ear lobe. He was abandoned. My Grandson found the kittens. They were only weeks old. Now? He is flourishing. I enjoy having the company.
I have also learned to depend on myself. I am setting a goal to begin cleaning up clutter. Throwing things away, getting more organized, and in the meantime being kind to myself.
I had to thank all my friends here because you all are very important to me in my life.
